During an interview with Behindwoods, Allu Arjun revealed that he loves ‘Madras’ and called the city his first home. When he was asked about his plan to do a Tamil film, the Stylish Star said, “I will definitely do it. I have been waiting to do a Tamil film for a long time. Though I have given hit movies in Telugu, I have been wanting to do one such film in Tamil because ‘Madras’ is the place where I was born and brought up. There’s great joy when you prove yourself in your home town. It’s my first home, Madras is where I was born. I can’t say Chennai because it was Madras back when I was born. ‘Madras’ is an emotion.”
